As an answer to: Re: Undergo or not surgery? written by Ralesk at 07 May 2004 05:04:10:
By thanking for whom has written an answer to my question, I'd say that I'll prefer staying as I am.... the only thing is until I got to this site , I didn't know much about it all and was WORRIED thinking that I was kinda abnormal and so different from anyone else and also that I had no option but to have the surgery, but as I can see now it's pretty possible to be like this if this is my choice.
>>After knowing this great resource for solving doubts I had been wondering about, I come here to ask you guys one question. I 'm 26 already and although I'm aware of having the "phimotic ring", it hasn't caused me any problem considering the fact that I'm passive homosexual and no problems as infections or any other occurence have been observed. I haven't seen a doc yet but I'd like to have an opnion from any of you if I could simply stay this way without undergoing any surgery or maybe postpone it a while before seeing an urologist.
>You could. Some people have sex with an unretractable foreskin afterall. It is, however, by far not optimal. You have an option to try to improve it without surgical intervention, and you also have the option to just go and throw the problem away (quite literally).
>>Besides I was wondering if there are really many guys above 20 years of age with any of such problems ?!
>There are some.
