>Bravissimo. Before my own circ, I was so afraid of that 'loss of sensitivity' but deep down common sense said it couldn't be THAT much or the whole circumcised world be screaming from the rooftops. Not to mention the experiences shared by people like yourself. While I honestly believe that routine infant circumcision (RIC)is a valid useful thing, and should be encouraged as an option, I realize that this might or might not happen in countries where it is not prevalent. However, there are more and more young adults seeking circumcision in Europe and doctors are beginning to gain experience in doing it well. This may eventually introduce RIC to Europe as an option for parents. I just read a French parenting book and lo and behold! the authors were promoting RIC.
If nothing else, people like you and me can let it be known to those fearing the possibilty of circumcision that they are losing a little but gaining a lot. Why anyone would want to spend months or years pulling and stretching and using creams on a far too regular basis is beyond me when the fix is simple and improves everything very efficiently.
