I am sorry, for some reason I thought you wer in Denmark. I really must be getting old. It is such a shame taht you have had these problems, though I know they happen. By far the best management, is a very tight bandage to be left like that for about 48 hours, then a new fresh dressing. This virtually prevents collections of blood etc. Anyway, too late to worry about that as the thing is to get better. The antibiotics should help and usually, once any extra blood or serum is expressed, it will get better even without the help of antibiotics.
Warm salty water is good to dangle into... one tablespoon in about a glass of very warm water, twice a day. Dry and do NOT use betadine or anything like that. Keep the penis in an upright position and use sterile cotton bandages wrapped tightly, but NOT to cut off blood flow! Really helps keep the edema in check. btw, did you go the the MD who advertises on the Net and is often on Circlist? If you can't say, I understand.
