Can I use Bactine? My doc told me to use nothing, but I was a little worry. No dress at all hurts like hell. How about a loose dressing with brief underwear to keep it upright (meaning pointing up)? And no, I did not go to that doctor.

By far the best management, is a very tight bandage to be left like that for about 48 hours, then a new fresh dressing. This virtually prevents collections of blood etc. Anyway, too late to worry about that as the thing is to get better. The antibiotics should help and usually, once any extra blood or serum is expressed, it will get better even without the help of antibiotics.

Keep the penis in an upright position and use sterile cotton bandages wrapped tightly, but NOT to cut off blood flow!
