It seems indeed that the prudish behaviour of your parents (but you’re right, one can’t blame them for what they’re like, it’s part of their upbringing) is what turned a normal status into a problem. One can wonder if you had known about alternatives what you’d have thought about them, had you tried them, had you reached your goal with them — one surely cannot blame you for your choice if that was the only one you’ve known about.

With all those mental problems you’ve mentioned that are in your past, I do still think that you’re one of the sanest people around here, and I’m very glad to see you here contributing. Please stay and keep this place in order; you have some very good thoughts in the matter, as was shown in your reply to the Mom.

Thanks again for sharing, and I’m looking forward to your experiences that are to come (granted you want to share them too),
