It's okay if someone wants to live with this but they need to know the potential harmful effects of this and most certainly they need to get information about any POSSIBLE surgical interventions so that they have no fear of the surgery, if needed. Indeed, it is embarrassment and fear of surgey that stops men from seeking help and that is a shame. Otherwise, they are not medically informed of the risk/benefits.
