If you needed an operation, the best looking is to have a circumcision rather than a cut just in the upper part of the foreskin as it leaves flaps hanging off the side. I don't know where you live but in the US, UK and Australia, local anesthetic is used. And that is all that is needed. In some regions, they use general anesthetic but there is no need for this and in any case, a general adds more medical risks.
