However, at this point I still see some inflammation every day which I try to remove whenever visiting the toilet or during showers. Is it normal to still see inflammation at this point and if not then what can be done about it?I’m not quite sure what you mean by “trying to remove the inflammation”.
If anything is inflamed — you had better ask your doc about it, especially if there’s discharge. If it just irritated, I guess it should gessen in the upcoming days. Hard to tell from your description what we’re dealing with.>Another question is that from day 2 the surgeon told me to retract the foreskin and exercise it but even though the swelling and discoloring has disappeared it seems fairly tight and I usually have to moisten the glans in order to pull the foreskin forwards again.
Day 2 sounds quite a bit early for me, but the idea of exercises is not a bad one, all in all.
> The inner part of the foreskin doesn't become visible but instead it is just pushed backwards and forms a soft but bulky rim around the forehead when retracted. I haven't had an erection yet (except for a partial one the second night in bed which was quite painful!) but the fact that it is a bit tight when flaccid, won't this be a problem?
It will become more loose with the exercises. Would have, similarly, had you not got your partial circumcision, too. But in any case, once swelling, irritation, and everything is gone and has become all nice and calm, do some exercises similar to what is described in this page or something similar to David’s suggestion on another page.
>Or will this disappear after a while by exercising the foreskin?
Exactly so.
Again, please make sure that stitches, swelling, irritation, etc. are all gone before playing around.
