Thank you for your reply Ralesk and Halfclip.
Talked to the surgeon about it. There was some yellowish discharge but as it turns out it is not due to inflammation but simply due to the wound healing. Also I don't feel any pain or anything and the wound looks fine. Stitches are beginning to come out and I think some of these were also the reason for the discharge. Two of them were rubbing against the forehead but they are both gone now and the discharge seems to be decreasing. I have also tried to leave the foreskin retracted and when doing this for several hours there is no yellowish discharge - only a very small amount of transparent fluid so nothing to worry about anymore.
The scar is about halfway between the tip and the rim but not much to see though. Have been exercising the foreskin and it is slowly getting better. The part halfway between the tip and the rim is still a bit irritated but it seems to be healing slowly. The foreskin covers just enough for the glans never to be in contact with my underwear.
The reason for this operation was simply sex. Before I could never reveal a hole with a diameter of more than 1cm. After sex there would sometimes be small scratches so got some Dermovat ointment prescribed by my doctor but using this along with some stretching exercises did not help much. The doctor therefore referred me to a surgeon. I'm 23 now so figured it was also about time to have it taken care of.
Again, thank you for your reply - always good to hear other persons opinions.
