EBT, I suspect if the cream really helped. I have not been using any cream because of the infection. (Moisture promotes bacteria growth, which causes infection, so my doctor did not let me use any.) Today is my day 19. My gland sensitivity proceeded exactly like you have described without the cream. Stickness in the head seemed to have significantly improved in the past two days. Before, it was consistently sticky. In the past two days, the tip does not stick tightly on the gauze anymore. One time it was stuck but was very loose, another time it was completely free. I still use a gauze because of very minor bleeding due to infection. I had one dry gauze out of three today. I think I may be off the gauze in another 3-4 days just to be safe.
As far as "use it", I have not yet. Erection is not painful anymore since end of day 12, but feels uncomfortably stretching at the stitches, probably because of the swelling. EBT, so you still have swelling? I suspect that my swelling is just because of my infection. Today, I have attempted to masturbate just to make sure it still works, and it worked. Not comfy, but worked. I am not going to try it again soon, nor will I use it before end of day 28 at least. My doc said he will tell me when I am ready, which I suspect will be at least day 42 due the infection delay. I had phimosis before with very tight skin, and I have noticed that it is actually .25 inch longer now than the day before I had my surgery. I will be quite pleased if the length stays after my swelling is gone. I can't wait.
>Interesting. I am getting my op done on the 21st, and I'll try vitamin E from the start see how it goes. Do you really need a prescription for it? I have a big sensitivity issue so i'm curious as to how this will work. It's just pure vitamin E?
>How has been things now on your week #3 (I think)? Are you able to "use it" yet? ;)

>>Hi,
>>I have been using a vitamin B5 creme for the last week, to see if it could help decrease the sensitivity of my glans after a surgery.
>>Read about the creme here.
>>I started to use this creme 2 weeks after surgery, once or twice a day. Glans sensitivity decreased during the first 2 weeks, but slowly. Sensitivity has decreased much more during the last week, while using this creme!
>>The tip of my glans was also a bit 'sticky', as described by Ham here. This is totally gone now, perhaps also aided by this creme.
>>I will never know how sensitivity and 'stickyness' would be today if I hadn't used this creme. Perhaps it would have been the same, i.e. perhaps the creme makes no difference, but it feels as if it do. The creme has caused no harm at all though, so I'll use it for one more week or so.
>>Just a little experience, hereby shared.
>>Have a nice weekend everybody! :)
