Excellent, thanks for the prompt and concise answers. Would you be interested in logging your post-circ experience on a web page? It would certainly help people like me who wonder about these things. Personally I will be logging every single detail about it and I will put a page up for people to get information from my experience.
How have you dealt with the sensitivity of the glans? Myself I am pretty afraid of it, as my glans as it is now is very sensitive. Did the bandages prevent the bulk of the initial discomfort? Did you take painkillers? Any problems at night with erections?
thanks.

>>How bad does it swell up after the operation?
> Approx 3 - 5 mm (1/8 - 1/5 of an inch). Swellings are where the foreskin was cut and where the stitches also was.
>>I don't understand why it swells up like that for so long. Does the swelling actually hurt or is it just bigger?
> I would say bigger and tender, not hurt. Very tender for the first couple of days. Tenderness is almost totally gone now. I guess that it swells so much because this is a sensitive area. Don't know why it takes so long for the swellings to go, but 4 weeks is not unusual.
>Glans sensitivity is worse than the tenderness of the foreskin.
>>How long did you have the bandages on for?
> 1½ week. I had a minor infection, so I kept using the bandages because of that. I guess that I could have stopped using the bandages after 1 week (perhaps before), if it wasn't for that infection.
>>Did you need to get them replaced every week or did you do it yourself?
> I replaced the bandages myself, every time I had to go to the bathroom.
>>Did you have dissolvable stitches? 4 weeks seems like a long time for those, I've read they usually dissolve after 2-3 weeks.
> Yes, I had dissolvable stitches, and you're right, they dissolve in 2-3 weeks.
>>As far as sex goes, masturbation was "fine" after day 11?
> I would say _possible_ at day 11 (just had to). Getting easier and easier. Had to be careful in the beginning due to stitches and tenderness. It is almost fine now, still a little tenderness and glans sensitivity. Just thinking 'hope these swellings disappears fast' will also 'weaken' the experience.
>>What about sexual intercourse, would you say it's possible now at week 3? (by intercourse I mean "at least" oral sex)
> I guess that any kind of sex would be possible, with a little caution (and thereby not 'fine' :). I don't intend to try before I feel 100% OK.
