The foreskin can have quite a network of veins on it and these can change colour from purple-black to purple to red especially as they get nearer the glans. None of these colours is an indication of a problem. If, however you have pain, then that is not normal and here, I mean pain on touching the skin where the veins are different. If you have an absolutely fine spider web of small veins (venules) but no pain or tenderness in the area, there is nothing wrong!
