Written by Nathan at 22 May 2004 15:09:21: How to remove the bandages
hey guys, i got my circ done yesterday, finally. I'll post in details a log of all the process/post-circ healing, etc later today. It's been really tough so far.
My concern right now is with the bandaging job they did. It's very tight, thick, and i don't know how to remove it, unless i want to pull the whole thing off together, which would be suicide. I don't see any "tape tip" or something that I could start with by pulling it, and there's some blood under, I'm afraid it'll be sticky as well, and with the pain i've been having i don't see how i can take this thing off.
Would taking a bath now help it? With salt? (wouldn't salt really hurt?) I am afraid of using scissors on this, and it's pretty obvious why. They asked me to remove it today, only 24 hrs after the circ, they didnt give me a replacement. Honestly, with the ultra sensitivity i have, i'd rather keep this protection for another day. Is that safe?
I hope i am making sense, I'm high on codeineright now.
thanks
