I had long foreskin. I got a partial circumcision because I disliked having such a long skin.

For me, it resulted in much better sexual experience. Better masturbation too. So from my point of vview, I'd say go for it.

However, instead of leaving 1/3 of head covered, ask for 1/3 of head exposed. And make damned sure he agrees to it, and ask him to mark the skin is is about to cut. (Local anesthesia helps greatly in ensuring the doc doesn't do as he wishes despite request of partient).

A shorter foreskin will naturally solve your glans problem since nighly erections will uncover the glans which will mature from his childhood sensitivity to adult sensitivy. And then, you will never fear pain during sex.

The true goal you should have is to have a penis you have 100% confidence will not hurt during any sexual activity. If you have the slightest fear of pain due to oversensitive glans or foreksin that hurts, then instinctively, you will limit your sexual acts to prevent pain (normal human behaviour).

Depending on your age, you should also consider that a long foreksin is also far more likely to become phimotic later in life (especially once old enough to masturbate not so often). Once the skin loses its elasticity, then it needs to be cut. Stretching works well in kids, work ok in adolescents, but workes less and less as you become older.
