yea it is my diary.
and yes the hospital barely told me anything at all.
about salt baths, i asked about those when i went to the emergency. She said to not use table salt, but to use a solution made for medical stuff.. not sure what it is exactly, but she gave me a bottle of it so i could use compresses soaked with it for 20 mins. it does help healing.
says "0.9% Sodium Chloride Irrigation, USP. Sterile" on the bottle
>:) That's good to hear. Is your web diary I've seen? Pretty useful that. Man why does it have to look so horrible, it would be far less worrying :)
>I've noticed a huge lack in info provided by the hospital before and after. I noticed you had problem with dressings but i was told to take mine off 1hr after the surgury before any of the blood had set. I've not had any pain at all though through the whole process so i've been lucky there.
>Do you or anyone else think the salt balth quickens the healing? I might try that
>>It's normal for the frenulum area to look messed up for a good 3 weeks. I thought my stitches had popped too, but they hadn't.
>>If 2 stitches fell it's fine, mine started coming out on day 7.
>>no worries mate :)
>>>I'm 25 and had a circ 6 days ago. It's still as swollen as after the op and i think this may have caused some of the stiches to come out. I'm kinda worried that i'm just being over cautious but it does look like the two peices near the frenulum of skin haven't healed together yet (looks like a small gap). I've been having baths twice a day as the aftercare note says maybe this has dissolved them too quickly? Is this normal or should i go back to the hospital and have new stitches put in?
>>>Thanks in advance
