Popping a stitch or two isn't a big concern. A small gap for a short duration around the circ line will close up with time.
If you are concerned about the gap, you can try a minuscule droplet of krazy glew (not sure of brand name in your contry). Essentially, you want a tiny droplet on a needlehead. Pinch the 2 skins together to close the gap and deposit the droplet on the joint where the pinched skins meet. This will keep the two skins together for a while (max 36 hours).
As far as baths are concerned, I think it is important that the scar area be kept dry and clean for most of the day, but a quick wash each day is also beneficial to remove any excess material (dried blood etc).
Instead of a bath, you should take showers.
Before you step in, wrap your toy with keleenex or toilet paper. Then in teh shower, the toilet paper will absord much of the gunk and once totally wet it will just fall off (or you can help it fall off).
Similarly, once you are out of shower, use toilet paper or kleenex to dry the penis again (just wrap it around and then unwrap it slowly).
In shower, don't put soap.
Also, for better healing, try Vitamin E oil (ceoncentrated vitamin e) once a day on the scar.
