I had a circ 4 months ago, with local anesthetic injected at the base of the penis. The circ itself has healed very nicely, but there is still a very sore, hard lump beneath the skin at the spot where the needle was inserted. It is not always sore, but when irritated, it aches even when not touched. My physician suggests ibuprofin and hot baths for a period of weeks. But no diminishing of the soreness or shrinking of the lump. Any one else have this experience.
