Any "-caine" gel will work. These are xylocaine/lignoicaine or other *caine based gels that can be applied to the glans. They will deaden it but for a few days or weeks doing it once a day or every other day works very well so that you adjust to the exposed glans.
If you are allergic to local anesthetics don't do it. The alternative is to use 90% aloe vera gel four to five times a day- apply to all the galns and all the way to the cut-line. It's excellent and will reduce your sensitivity and there is virtually no possibility of an allergic reaction. Perhaps try this first. it's cheap too!
