Pinhole Phimosis?

I obviously have a phimosis but I was wondering if it is a pinhole phimosis, as that seems to be particularly difficult (if not impossible) to overcome. I am 24, have always had the glans totally covered by foreskin, both when flaccid and erect. I guess I never even tried to retract the foreskin because it was never uncomfortable. I have a very loose (well, in parts) long foreskin and when I'm not erect the skin just kind of bunches together in a wrinkly heap in front of the glans, completely covering it. I have read a lot about a 'phimotic ring' but I can't say that I can see one, maybe because I don't know what I'm looking for. I have masturbated regularly for as long as I can remember and have never had any problems, probably because I have developed an efficient way of stroking only outwards, never towards the base of my penis. I want to try stretching but it really seems like my problem is unfixable (I want it fixed because sex can be uncomfortable and nerve racking). I have some betamethasone 0.02% cream which was prescribed for a skin infection - I was also wondering if I could use that to assist stretching even though it seems that 0.05% is recommended (I guess it is just a weaker steroid). Also, what exactly is the steriod cream supposed to do? I am terrified of the prospect of circumcision but kind of resigned to the fact that it could be my only option.
