I think with little thinking you can easily come to conclusions yourself.
If retraction is — to say the least — uncomfortable when erect, it is not going to be any different when it is retracted by your then wife’s vagina.
Until your foreskin is more comfortable to manually retract, I can suggest adding some extra lubrication. Using a condom is not only a Good Idea in most cases, but also helps to lessen the possibility that your foreskin be retracted too much or too hard.
That’s all I can suggest for now, beside that you should start your exercises and get closer to having more comfort in retracting your foreskin.
