Thanks to Will and David R for their words and reasuurance. I do wonder if my son does not have phimosis at all but just a badly scarred foreskin. He tells me that it nearly always cracks when he cleans it in the bath but it doesn't hurt so he just keeps pulling it back. I am afraid that the scarring is now too difficult to put right.

Will the cortisone cream take away the scarring? I am hoping that because he is so young his body will create new skin to heal the scars and his foreskin will becaome stretchy again through the exercises.

Any thoughts?
