Sorry for the delay in replying. I have a 'real' job, unfortunately, and that really keeps me busy :0) Anyway, the paradox is that steroids break down skin integrity, which allows for thinning and they reduce the body's ability to fight off infection. You must be very careful, therefore, in using them in any long term 'project' and they should rarely be used if infection is present- only then, under strict medical guidance.
