HYPERSENSITIVE glans (ouch!) and 2) the folds of skin which retract behind the glans and tends to stay there unless manually pushed forward again.

I had a hypersensitive glans too earlier (when I couldn't retract at all). Then when I could retract it, even touching myself would feel very unpleasant. I would pull the foreskin back and let water flow over it for a while in the shower. Now over time it does become less sensitive - I now can (and often do) wash it with soap comfortably.

I dunno about that haven't gotten to that stage when erect yet. But this should only be an issue during sex (when you cannot use your hand to push it back). Perhaps a lubricant might help?
