You are doing well- and a good description of the post surgical healing. It would seem from your description that the frenulum was narrowed- it's hardly ever 'removed' - you would know because the outer foreskin would be only 1mm or so from the glans- right in the "V." If the cutline is about 1 to 2cm back from the lower part of the meatus then most of the sensitive part of the frenulum is still there. AJ's description is absolutely accurate and would apply to most men having an adult circ. I am an MD, circ'd at 34 and had much the same experience as AJ. I found very little pain but that I was told by my urologist is much about the bandaging as anything else. The bandaging has to be very tight and this prevents 'runaway' erections- you get them but the tight bandaging stops the skin on the shaft from overstretching. In fact, due to reflex response to the sensations from the cut line, I had erections almost 24/7 but they did not hurt. Bandages came off on day 4 and by that time I was comfortably back at work with no discomfort at all. The worst thing that happened was on day 4 I flew back to my home city (I had the surgery elsewhere) and on the flight a guy had a seizure. While attending him his flailing arm wacked me in the crotch and that DID take my breath away. If anything that was the most post-operative discomfort I had.
