If you have a tight foreskin, sex without a condom isn't a great problem, just as you've found that it isn't a problem with a conmdom.

The procedure you use is the exact same procedure used by many circumcised lads, you use lubrication on your penis to allow it to slip in without undue friction that would bother. Lubrication makes it more comfortable for many folks, male and female. This can be Astro-Glide, K-Y Jelly or any number of products.

If you start stretching to effect retraction, you need to see it through. Giving up half way is going to make a right mess of things and very possibly cause pain and require medical intervention.

Your comment about an attachment on the "top' of your helmet is certainmly not your frenulum, that's on the bottom. It sounds more like an adhesion that hasn't resolved itself. Dunno how old you are, but as you wank your self, tossing your foreskin to and fro, this may resolve itself and come loose on its own. A doctor could detach it using a probe, a relatively minor procedure for him, but that would be my last option.

You've kind of hit on the solution, if it ain't broke, and doesn't bother you, don't fix it.
