Truly, being somebody that knows absolutely nothing about the circumcised penis aside from it's appearance, I do appreciate your input about my situation.

Since I have done nothing but downplay the situation as it is--I can tell you for the most part that I do have pinhole phimosis, but I rather do refer to it as 'penhole' phimosis--in that it is not so tight that it has been unbearable to live with until now. This was all at the cost of not having a trusted 'father-figure' around when I was younger really. A lack of proper hygiene and adequate cleaning until my teen years really, when it evidently was too late.

It is summer in Canada, and my presence is essential to the work place, otherwise I would address this sooner than possible. If I do go ahead with the circumcission I am able to say that I have stretched frequently and as instructed with no positive results, over more than three years. Looking ahead, as somebody who will have previously advocated being natural--I could say under my circumstances it would have been an appropriate change. I am learning toward a loose / partial circumcission, hopefully keeping the frenulum, because it is seemingly more convenient and will ease the process.

Any further input would be appreciated. It is good to learn about the sitaution beforehand and understand the facts than stress more about it later on, because after all it is my only penis. The consequences so far are truly not concerning me. All I'd like are healthy glans with an improved social life in the longrun.

>Hi James,
>As someone who has been circumcised as an adult, I would advise you to have it done as well. It is the only cure for persistent phimosis and yours sounds to be a particularly bad case. The pain that you fear would be more accurately described as discomfort and although there can be complications like heavy bleeding, most guys get through it without much trouble.
>There will be a lot of swelling which can take a long while to resolve, but in the end you will be rewarded with a healthier penis. I am not really pro-circumcision, but if you have a medical need to do it, then I am 100% for it. Someone has already suggested Circlist.com and if you've had a look you will already know what a useful and helpful site it is.
>All the best. You won't regret it if you decide to go ahead.
