The glans does indeed dry some. That's good because the continual wetness of the glans skin is what creates the "ouchiness" that many uncirc'd men complain about. It does not turn into beef jerky!!!!!!!! although many of the writers on pro foreskin fora would have you believe that to be true.
And, yes, I was circumcised at age 34 and the result is by far a better functional and very low maintenance organ. In fact, the foreskin never had any function in my life that could be called useful. Certainly, it was responsible for everything negative that happened to my penis. Thank goodness, it has had no ability to do that for 20 years.
