>>>Hi all. I was just told about this place, finally some answers.
>>>I read as much as I could and still have some questions.
>>>I have never retracted my foreskin. I do remember that at times in the past I did stretch it just out of curiousity when I thought a tight foreskin was normal, but I never followed up on it and it went back to it's normal state, about a dime size opening. When I pull it back as much as it goes, I notice a piece of skin that attaches the foreskin to directly under the pee-hole. Is this normal??? Is that the frenulum??? It looks to me that it's actually part of the foreskin...I'm sooo confused.
>>>I ordered Betamethasone cream today on line and will start stretching as soon it arrives. What is the best stretching method??? Pull back and hold???

>>>by the way, I'm 22 years old---is this going to be a factor in the stretching?
>>Why wait, start stretching now. I describe the easiest stretch as being like holding open a gunnysack or a halloween goody bag. Grab either side and pull up and out. Hold for a few minutes. Don't make it hurt, but make it taut. The cream helps, but physical action tells it what to do. 22 is plenty young (I'll trade) I can assure you that a dime size opening is WAY ahead of the game compared to a lot of guys who have had success stretching. Some took over a month to get where you are already. Take heart, take hold and start stretching.

Yes, it's definitely a good idea to try stretching before undergoing surgery. If it doesn't work after a while, then you can consider going under the knife. However, just so you know I had a phimotic ring as well and had a lot pain when the foreskin was fully pulled back. It would constrict the shaft like a tight rubberband. I had to force the skin back over the glans if I wanted it to be painless again. I started doing stretches several times a day (in the shower, before I peed, whenever you have the privacy I guess) and after a week, the pain was almost all gone. It's been almost 3 weeks now I guess and I've stop stretching it. The skin now pulls back over the glans painlessly and I can move it back and forth quite easily (phew...). Just make sure you stretch the area that is the most constrictive. For me, it was a ring on the inside foreskin about half a centimeter from the tip. This meant that I have to pull the skin back and little and then do the "candy-bag" stretching. Otherwise I would've just been stretching skin that was already elastic enough. Well hope things go well for you and be persistent!
