I am being circumcised in just under a week, and I have had two pre-circumcision inspections. They aren't anything major, and only take a minute.
Yes the doctors (a GP and a urologist) tried pulling the skin back as far as it would go. Mine does not retract AT ALL and I told them it was starting to pain when they tried pulling back, and they stopped immediately.
The inspection is really just to see how far it will go, and whether it is medically necessary.
Don't worry about it... You'll be fine :)
