Don't count your chickens just yet, Stu. If they can reconstruct a penis, reattach a penis, and make sex possible after all manner of horrendous injuries and burns to it, they can sort your problem out - which in comparrison is a relatively small trauma. It really is not as bad as you think. Sure, it's certainly not the ideal situation to be in, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I would suggest again that you get another opinion and also that you try not to dwell too much on the worst-case-scenerios you are thinking of - which are not very likely at all. I know it's difficult, especially consider the nature of the problem, but it is important that you give yourself an accurate perspective and a more realistic (and positive) outlook on this resolveable problem.
