As an answer to: question regarding male problems in general. written by Stu at 06 Aug 2004 10:26:55:
I know I have no business giving advice here, but something you wrote makes me write now. Before I knew about stretching, I thought circ was the only way and I had decided never to get a circed and live my life without a girlfriend, wife, family...same as you feel now. Do you know how I coped with it until I found out about stretching, here it is ... Scotch, and art. I dove into the art world, music, literature, painting, poetry, etc. and kept time that way, meanwhile depressed the entire time. That has very bad and very good effects. One, you become an abuser of substance, in my case, Scotch. Two, you become a better then average artist because you have a lot of time and you are clearly feeling emotions others are not, and if you had some talent to begin with, you'll be a force. It just makes it a little easier. Now you can try something similar or you can take AJ's advice and look into some solutions. I read your earlier posts and found that your problem is not even close to the worst thing that could have happend to you. Give it a try man, you know very well what you will have if you succeed - - the future you would rather have.
I hope this gives you hope because no amount of Scotch and Art will make you completely forget your undeserved life. You will only struggle with it for a while and then either change your mind and kill yourself or try to find a solution then, so just go for it now man. I refuse to believe there is nothing that can be done. AJ pointed out a good example with Bobbit.
Sorry I am giving you advice even though you are older then I am (22), but I've gone so low in that way of life, it is just too lonely, I don't know how you've endured it for so long.
Jack.
