Problems with phimosis - age 27

Hello

I'm 25 years old last year I started to have a problem with phimosis. I never had any problems retracting the foreskin before but now I can only expose 1/5 of the gland. There is also some discoloration on the tip of the skin. I talked to a friend who is a medical student and he told me to do a circuncision but I can't do it now because I am unemployed (no insurance) so I was wondering if there are any other methods to deal with this problem.
