Advice

Did some initial browsing on the forum, and have found some helpful info, however I've still got a few concerns.

I became sexually active at 16, and had a very active sex life for about 4 years straight. At that point in time, I could fully retract my foreskin, though it was somewhat tight and would occasionally hitch behind the crown until flaccid unless I helped it along. Never painful, however, unless sex was especially rough or vigorous.

My girlfriend at the time and I split, and I went for about 2.5 years without having sexual intercourse (masturbation continued normally). I never really paid much attention to it, but I've noticed recently (last 6 months or so) that I can no longer retract my foreskin. I rarely did during masterbation (hand directly on the glans was a little.. too much stimulation), so I never noticed the tightness until I became sexually active once again.

It's not painful during sexual intercourse or masterbation (again, unless its particularly vigorous or rough), but I am a little concerned. Part of the problem, I believe, came from the girth of my penis. About 1.4" in diameter (4.25"-4.5") when flaccid, 1.75" (5.25"-5.5") when erect, just behind the crown (obviously a little greater girth at the rim of the crown). The foreskin, on the other hand, only seems to stretch to .5"-.75" in diameter; and obvious problem. I can still get a finger inside and under it to clean around the glans, so nothing is sticking where it should not, but things certainly do no stretch as they used to. Rolling the foreskin between my fingers, it almost feels as though there is some scar tissue there; a possibility I'm not unwilling to entertain. Frankly, if I am able to regain the flexibility I formerly had, it would be great (frankly, while sex is still very pleasureable, it's more so with proper retraction).

Other than the obvious 'go see a doctor', I wanted to get some feedback from folks here as to what my options might be, and people's opinions on them. Stretching, cortisone creams, full or partial circumcision? If stretching is someone's preferred method, are there any particular methods which have worked better for folks than others?

Any feedback is appreciated.
