i had a frenuloplasty a few months ago but the area remains red and during sex still feel like it is about to tear (though its not as sore as before)- as far as i can see there is no frenulum left
I was back at my urologist and he thinks I have BXO and has recommendeded full circumcision - there is a white ridge just under the head of the penis and the area has become quite itchy but I have no problem retracting my foreskin and the foreskin itself seems in good shape. He suggested this is being caused by chronic fungal infection, but if it is just fungal there must be some less radical way of treating it (yes I have tried canestan - it fixed the itching, but as soon as i stopped using it it came back)
I'm going to try and find another urologist for a second opinion but would like to know what you all think - have any of you had a frenuloplasty and still had problems afterward. Before I had the operation I has read that it fixes the problem in 99% of cases - maybe I'm the 1%?
