This is a subject that deserves more "exposure" as it can have considerable merit for those uncut guys that would like to have the glans exposed and easy to keep clean and like the appearance therof. It also provides some disease rejection due to lack of dampness and exposure to air.

Other than that I would say that the method on circlist is more oriented to providing a trial of going bare than of achieving permanent retraction. It may or may not be the best approach for training the skin to stay behind the glans.
Obviously not everyone can succeed with this as foreskins and the differential between erect and flaccid size can affect success.

It is important if attempting this to get the foreskin retracted as soon after it rolls forward as possible. One exception to that is if you get a paraphimotic swelling of the foreskin when behind the glans steps must immediately be taken to massage tht blood out of the head and bring the foreskin forward. Retry some other time.

many Japanese expect to wear the foreskin permanently retracted as they enter adulthood. They will sometimes wrap with string as training.

"O" rings, tape, etc are used as aids. Soft foam with the right size hole can be placed on the skin behind the glans. A flexible tape could be wrapped on the skin that is retracted and secured even with a rubber band.

One thing that helps the process along a bit is that the glans assumes a greater flare when not continually squeezed down by the foreskin. Some have a folding back procedure to double the foreskin on itself when retracted that helps.

I was fortunate that I had good luck and had after a week or two the ability to wear the skin in either position.

Beside in Japan, some Europeans, some Mexicans and Argentines have quite a few that go for permanent retraction. With the high US circ rates of recent years, there has been less knowledge of the idea- but also the fact that some potential sex partners are expecting to see that bare glans, skinning back provides a non-surgical alternative.
