Frenulum

Thanx alot for your info on the frenulum. I'm 16yrs old and i recently discovered i have a short/tight frenulum. It was first misdiagnosed by 2 doctors, but i finally found a doctor that is experienced and knows about this condition. I have decided to get a FRENULOPLASTY. Is there something i should know about before i go through this precedure? What is the success rate? How visible will the scar be? How long will i take to recover fully? And is the frenulum just cut down the middle, or is it fully removed?
