Urologist appointment and further update

Hello all,

As some of you may remember, I started stretching about a month ago and have gone from pinhole phimosis to being able to retract the foreskin easily while flaccid. I can also retract while fully erect (although this takes a couple of seconds).

Anyway, getting to the point, when I first went to my GP regarding my problem, he had recommended circumcision and referred me to a urologist. Today was that appointment and I decided to keep the appointment, just to get a professional opinion. Anyway, in hindsight, I probably should have listened to the advice from one of this folks on this site and just skipped the appointment. This urologist had never heard of "stretching" before and didn't understand me when I tried to explain it. He didn't seem to believe that adults could stretch the foreskin opening. During examination, he retracted my foreskin a few times and said "yeah...it's a bit tight" and said "you should probably just get a circumcision". When I asked him what my options were, he could only think of circumcision.

Anyway, I've totally lost the little faith I had in the medical profession. Not only was the doctor quite ignorant, but he wasn't even interested in answering any of the questions I had. He had me out of there in under 5 minutes. just FYI, I live in Canada. I hope reading my experience helps prepare other people who go to get opinions from urologists.

p.s. - The only problem that I currently experience is that the phimotic ring still seems too tight while I'm fully erect and causes discomfort when near ejaculation. I used to think my frenulum was too short, but I don't think that's a problem anymore since the foreskin can slide down the shaft (if pushed down) even in the erect state. Any advice on special techniques to deal with this issue would be appreciated.
