>Hi I am a healthy 25 year old living in Canada. I am not sure why i never noticed it before. Maybe it was something I thought would sort itself out eventually as a part being sexually active. But my sex-life started (well sort of) pretty late and i kept thinking my tight foreskin will eventually go away as i continued. But it did not. I finally went online a couple of days back and found this to be a medical condition i am suffering from. Where many people would realize early on in life or early adulthood; i happened to miss out on the fun and it took me 25 full years to realize that i have a problem.
>It does knock a bit off my confidence but i try not to think about it too much. I am encouraged by what i have read in many articles i have been scouring for the last few days including this forum. I am glad to hear stretching works for many individuals. I have only been at it for 2 days and haven't seen any results. I know its too early to expect anything. I hope its not too late in my age to hope for any kind of changes to happen.
>Although i do not think about any drastic methods, i will focus on stretching for a while. A few questions at this point are:
>a> I am sorry if i missed it but i spent a little bit on the parent article (maleinitiation.net that carried the link to this forum) for the appropriate technique to stretching. Can someone point me to the steps please.
>b> Will i need medication to supplement it. I have read many people use it but i am anxious to see if i can get anywhere without any (just answered my own question) :) Should i use any household cream / lubricant while i do this?
>As with everyone else who is trying to rid themselves of this condition, I will keep you posted on my developments over the next days and weeks.
>Thanks for reading.

Hi Gary,

I live in Canada, am a couple of years older than you,and started out with pinhole phimosis also. Was able to solve 95% of the problem in about 3 weeks. My foreskin is still a bit tight when fully erect, but I'm hoping that will improve.

Bethamethosone cream will probably help quicken the stretching progress.

Lastly, just be aware that in Canada, like in the U.S., most doctors are still strong proponents of circumcision. From my experience, they will recommend circumcision as the only option and will likely tell you that stretching won't work. Based on the results of many, many people (including myself), stretching can work. And even if it doesn't, the surgical options are always available as a back-up.

Good luck!
