Whether one becomes impotent has little to do with whether circed or not. There would be a lot of Jews and muslims and *all* the RIC's yowling rather than a few people that have unfortunately erroneously adopted the anti circ banner for lack of something to do.
A case in point: in my own life, I went to permanent retractionat age 12 based on a suggestion in a Dr Foote's book "Sexology and Recipes". This worked well but I did reinforce this with a minimal circ at age 42. Now, at age 80 I do not find any "loss of sensitivity" curbing my twice a week or so pursuing sex with my wife. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 12 yrs ago and underwent a radical prostatectomy which of course removes the role of the prostate filling up with secretion desiring emptying and compromises the actual orgasm considerably, as well as compromising erectile capability.
You must first understand "sensitivity" as being two different sensitivities. In the uncirced the glans when freshly exposed will be so sensitive that touching it must be ultra gentle or the appropriate word will be ouch rather than ooh. With a glans that is always exposed- by skinning back or circ- the word will always be aaah! It still is for me. And it is for others as well providing they are not ill or of a pschologically disabled function- such as reading that they don't have sensitivity and believing it!
>>I'd be more interested in whether they can get it up (and keep it up) when they are 50.
This is related to factors other than glans exposure by circ or otherwise.
>Because believe it or not, you'll be 50 too in the future, and a foreskin might come in handy!
Well I'm 80 and a foreskin to maintain would be only a nuisance.
And I like the direct contact to the glans and sulcus without being insulated by excess skin in the way.
