Panic in the shower :)

hello to all,

my background is pretty much the same as most people here : 24 year old, uncircumsized, conservative upbringing. of course, i realised that something was different about my penis when i was watching porn films. but then i said to myelf "oh, that must be because they are circumsized" ... and never bothered too much about it.

bascially, my foreskin covers the entire glans even while erect, although in the past few years i have begun to see more of the opening of the glans. i read somewhere on the internet that this is caused by a tight foreskin and for since a few years, i have been (half-heartedly) "streching" my foreskin everytime i finish peeing, in an effort to loosen it. what i didn't realise that the amount of "streaching" i was doing wasn't even 10% of the serious effort required for my foreskin to go back all the way.

last month, i came across the male initiaion ste and hence this forum. so its been about 2-3 weeks i guess, since i REALLY made an effort (and as many here can testify, it requires a lot of PATIENCE :)). the progress has been pretty good. i was able to see areas of my penis which i had never seen before. day by day, i was getting braver and retracting more and more.

yesterday, in the shower, i was able to fully retract it past the corona ! yes ! for the first time in my life, i had a glimpse of my penis as its "supposed" to be. i spent some 10 minutes washing off all the smegma (and there was lots, believe me). and then imagine my horror and panic, when i found that my foreskin wouldn't return to its normal state ! yes, i was panicked and various options raced across my mind - ranging from calling 911 to going to the internet (directly from the shower ;)) and checking what the solution for "paraphimosis" was !

well, after about 10 minutes of desparate trying, i finally somehow managed to get the foreskin to come back and i was back to normal again. whew ! anyway, my question to the forum was that if anyone else here has had such panicky experiences and if so what is the solution. obviously, my condition was caused by a tight foreskin (and my corona is quite big, in relation to my penis) which had never been streched that far in its flaccid state.

some other points :
1. all these experiences are of course when my penis is flaccid. when i'm erect, the foreskin goes back only about half the length of the glans, so i guess there's still more streching work to be done
2. for streching, i used only my fingers only and rarely a lubricant (vaseline). i found it easier to strech just after peeing (because the wetness is a lubricant) or while in the shower.
3. the good thing about yesterday was that i when i was cleaning my penis in the shower, there was no significant pain or discomfort. i guess one of the reasons is that i was under a warm shower, so the penis was less sensitive. but that gives me hope that the more my glans is exposed, the less sensitive it becomes.
