>There is no use for condoms in this situation. Girls get pregnant only when they use nothing at all. My personal experience says that birth control pills can be trusted. Also, I've heard a lot of statistics that us (Norwegians) don't use condoms much. And we're still here, we didn't die from scary diseases or anything.
>In fact, if you download the HDI report for 2003 (where Norway is #1 best country to live in) here: report , page 259 (chart 7: Leading global health crisis and challenges), you'll see that the HIV prevalence in Norwegian adults is only 0.08%.
>Most diseases can be - and are - treated. The scariest - AIDS - is very rare in ourt part of the world, and it is not very likely to get it from vaginal sex. There is no use in scaring people to death with sex related issues.
>Anyway, I don't see the problem here. Anon wants sex without a condom. His girlfriend has agreed. His question was about pregnancy. Birth control pills are 99.99% reliable.
They are that reliable only if the woman is that reliable. Even if she is capable of remembering to take it every single day, a man has no guarantee that she will. More than a few men have found themselves daddies because the girl chose to forgo her pill. It's not nice but people aren't always nice. Every person having sex should have their own confirmation that contraception is properly being practiced - for the man that means either feeling the Implanon in place or using a condom - unless of course baby-making is welcome. I know this sounds harsh, but it is care that needs to be taken.
