Are all the stitches out? Some swelling is normal. When I had a partical circ a few years back it took about 6 weeks to settle down to normal. In regards to hyper sensitivity, that's not unsual. It does gradually gets back to a comfortable level. When all my stitches were out I was given some loose gauze to put around the head as it was still tender. This was a good stepping stone to gradually exposing it to pants etc.
