You can get a referral from your doctor and get it done on the NHS. Alternatively you can go private. The usual private medical places like Bupa can do the surgery, but they are very expensive (over Ł1000) and insist on a general anesthetic, which means an over night stay. You could try here for some information on private surgeries in the UK, too.
