What I do know is that my foreskin represents nothing but negative feelings of anxiety, self-consciousness etc. for me and the decision to have a circumcision has beome more than just a medical one - it is now a cosmetic decision, as I have come to greatly dislike being uncircumcised. This is why stretching and other less dramatic procedures to no have the same appeal for me.
Exactly, and I'm glad you see that the issue is basically cosmetic, though the procedure is medical. In many ways it is like a woman insisting on having a breast job thinking that it will solve all her self-image problems. The girls who have a realistic understanding of what it will and won't do for them are much more likely to be happy with the results. That's why I think going to a neutral counselor (as with doctors wome have strong views one way or the other and don't help you gain perspective) would help you understand what it is you can expect of your penis as it is and as it will be if you alter it. If you expect too much of a life change from a circumcision, then when you are not satisfied with the new circumstances, you will latch onto something else as the 'solution.' Good luck.
