Post-Circumcision Question

Hi everyone. I had a circumcision today, which was a big relief - it's now about 9 hours after the operation and I'm doing okay so far (though I know there's a lot of pain coming!). I just have a question about what to do with the dressing. I was told when I was discharged to take a saltwater bath tomorrow (i.e the next day) and soak the bandages until they come off. Then I think I'm supposed to dry it off and apply a new bandage (I was given some bandage and betadine)...I'm a bit unsure though because I can't imagine how I'm going to get a new bandage on myself (not to mention the glans is ay too sensitive to get in a bath!), and I've been reading posts on here and it seems like most people leave the bandages on for at least 3 or 4 days, usually up to a week after the operation. Am I taking mine off too soon?? Bear in mind also that my doctor didn't require me to shedule a follow-up or anything where he would check the wound/bandages - he just said I should see him in 6 weeks. Should I just follow the instructions they gave me?
