That advice sounds positively bizarre. The foul odors are given off by bacteria known as smegma. If there is such a thing as "friendly" bacteria, I want to know what they could possibly smell like that could be more acceptable than smegma. Breeding in the dank swamp conditions that an unretracted foreskin provides, I don't think I would want to stick my nose up to your yogurt culture after it's been in there for a week either.
To answer the guy's question, yes, most definitely, circumcision immediately and forever eliminates smegma and all foul odors. So does permanent or at least prolonged routine foreskin retraction.
