He's not inventing a problem out of nothing. Regardless of your views on foreskins, stretching, the pros and cons of circumcision etc., one simple fact can't be denied. That is that, whether you are circumcised or uncircumsised, the glans is meant to be uncovered during sex (or at least be able to be - some uncircumcised guys might prefer to leave the foreskin forward). If it is covered, this is not an ideal situation. You might be able to function okay sexually with this problem (as I did), but it is still not a desirable situation and you should take some action to correct it, whether that be by drastic or conservative means.
