I am far from an expert on BXO, but I was referred to a site where it noted that there are other, more conservative treatments which can be tried first. As I recall, circumcision as a treatment hasn't even been shown to be effective, since BXO affects the glans directly, as well as the foreskin, and it does not seem to be related to moistness. There are many reported cases of men submitting to the knife and the BXO not being reversed. By the way, a biopsy definitely does not have to be done as part of a circumcision: only a small sample is needed. I'd recommend you try someone else, preferably a dermatologist or someone who does not do surgeries at all. Too often surgeons (which includes urologists) get used to a 'cut first' mentality.
