Thanks for the reply. It's relieving to know someone's in a similar situation as me. Did any of your stitches come out early? I think a couple of mine have come out, especially on the underside where it's most swollen. I went to the clinic today and saw a nurse who examined me and basically said everything was fine: no infection and the swelling and purple "bruising" is to be expected and will go down. She also didn't seem to be worried that stitches had come out, she just said it was fine and to be patient. I had a bath (the first since the op on friday) and that felt nice.

I guess I just got freaked out when I saw how swollen and purple my penis was. It's unsettling to see that most familiar and tender part of you in such a nasty state!

I'll keep everyone updated on how the healing is going. Please feel free to add to this thread with stories, advice or anything.
