Circumcise? How much?

I had a Frenuloplasty in April following a tear - at the same time, I managed to pick up a bout of Balanitis. I suspect the discomfort of the tear led to some poor hygiene. Anyway, the Balanitis never quite cleared, and last week, I managed to get another appointment with my Eurologist because I was concerned that my Glans are still white, easily become sore, and almost seem to blister after sex. The Eurologist diagnosed that I now have BXO. Recommended treatment by the Eurologist - Circumcism. He says the BXo will not get any better, and will only get worse, and that a Circ is inevitable. Is this correct? have I gone as far as possible with this? is there nothing that can get rid of the BXO otherwise? Any advice would be appreciated as I have otherwise requested a Circ - UK waiting lists give me 6-10 Months left with my Foreskin, and then its gone!
